Welcome to my Blog

Hello everyone! I'm Raven, or Ravenwing, whichever you prefer ;] This blog is mainly about The Sims 3. While I am not doing a Legacy Challenge, I have come up with my own challenge that will be very long and frustrating, yet suits my playstyle and will be interesting for me to play. I am female, for your information, and have been playing The Sims 2 for a long time. For Christmas this year I was given The Sims 3 and I currently have Pets and Seasons. I love building and designing houses for my Sims to live in and also enjoy Minecraft, Skyrim, and Fruit Ninja =)

I will be doing a very long challenge of my own creation. For this challenge, I will begin with a medieval themed neighborhood, then after 8 generations (almost a full normal legacy! o_o) I'll switch to a colonial theme while keeping the same Sims and neighborhood; after another 8 generations it will become Victorian; and finally, after 6 generations, I'll have a normal, modern neighborhood with electricity and all that fun stuff for me to play in normally as long as I like. This makes the challenge 22 generations long, not counting after the challenge ends. I count one generation as when the youngest child becomes a Young Adult; the firstborn stays in the family home; and to keep everything neat, a time period won't end until ALL families have reached that time period's final generation. I won't add any new Create-A-Household families except for up to 5 once I finish the challenge (as a little reward for myself), although I will add pets if needed.

Each time I change to a new time period I'll post my rules for that time period - please do not judge me for my rules, I am not doing a large amount of research for this, just what I do know, and so some parts (such as _____ is put to death if caught having romantic social interactions with _____) are simply for drama, and some parts (such as slavery, a very horrible thing) are for realism.

Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts on my entries! For a full list of my rules, see the "Challenge Rules" page. You're welcome to start your own challenge using my rules and/or share your challenge through a blog - in fact, I'd love to see people do this and read their blogs if they do!
